NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED WATER PROJECT
TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF WHITEFORD: Please take notice that the Township Board of the Township of Whiteford, Michigan will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, the 18th day of August, 2015 at 7:30 pm, prevailing Eastern Time in the Whiteford Township Hall, located at 8000 Yankee Road, Suite 100, Ottawa Lake, Michigan.
The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for comment on the proposed water project to service an area including the Unincorporated Village of Ottawa Lake and Memorial Highway to the Michigan/Ohio border, Green Road, Beck Road to Head O Lake Road to Consear Road to Sylvania-Petersburg Road to U.S. 223 to Exit 5, portions of Bacon Road, Yankee Road and Lynch Road. This project is expected to be financed through grants and loans from the Rural Development Agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
At the public hearing all citizens, taxpayers and property owners of the Township desiring to address the Township Board shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard in regard to the proposed project.
